Nippon Paint China Project Division held the building texture conference on Green and energy saving : creating building texture appearance". The conference previewed with the progression of building material coatings in the past 30 years and explored the emerging trends of the future. Nippon Paint China presented the latest 2014-2015 building facade coating appearance effects. At the conference, the attendees fully endorsed the government's policy of green building, and shared the significant contribution that carefully designed and incorporated building texture material can have to meeting green building standards.
From the past to modern times, the appearance of buildings are enhanced with appropriate texture material like tiles and stones or other coatings. What we have today is that we now have cost effective as well as environmentally friendlier decoration material that are increasingly used to imitate stone and ceramic effects.
Mr Edmund Yin, Nippon Paint China Project Division General Manager expressed that exterior wall coatings in China has developed rapidly in recent years. With the expansion of Chinese and Western architectural styles and modern construction technologies, building fa?ade coatings have incorporated four trends: decoration, protection, energy conservation and environmental protection. New coating materials not only have the good performance of outdoor durability but also have excellent stain resistance, which makes the building look like new for a much longer time. At the same time, most of these material also have excellent environmental friendly characteristics that are consistent with the trends in green building.
Nippon Paint China Project has two texture systems that are enjoying growing popularity among customers. The two texture systems can be tailored to imitate natural granite, marble and other many kinds of stone like texture effects.
For energy conservation and environmental protection, can reduce heat transfer, thereby reducing indoor temperatures and reduce the loading on the air conditioning systems: saving energy in the process. According to Nippon Paint experimental data, under certain conditions energy savings of between 4% to 9% energy consumption annually.
The 2014-2015 building facade coating appearance effects published by Nippon Paint China Project Division is based on 22 years of accumulated experience in the Chinese market supported by both local and international dedicated scientific research efforts. As can be seen from the trends, environmental protection and energy saving considerations are increasingly becoming important considerations, and building facade texture coatings are leading the general trend and fulfilling the requirements. Market requirements are expected to be increasing at double-digit growth rates.
