Introduction
These specialty grades are bright non-leafing aluminum pigments which have polymer treated flake surfaces. The polymer treatment reduces the electrical conductivity of the pigment flakes thereby improving performance in electrostatic spray applications. In addition the polymer treatment increases acid and alkali staining resistance making them well suited for use in coatings applied to electronic component housings, architectural extrusions and certain coil coating applications.
